🎯 About the role

Our Social Media & Marketing team is growing, and we're looking for a Community Manager Apprentice to join the journey and help us build and animate an engaged, authentic community around the WeWard brand.

You will report to Kim, our Community Manager and work closely with the broader Marketing team (Cameron, Emilie, Lindsey C. and Lindsey S.).

👉 Your impact/responsibilities

Community Management

  • Moderation and animation of the brand’s social media accounts across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X)

  • Building a unique social media tone of voice for WeWard. Reflecting the brand's tone and values, you'll be one of the guardians of editorial consistency

  • Strengthening brand visibility beyond our own channelsby engaging with relevant brands and accounts, participating in niche conversations, and expanding the brand’s share of voice.

  • Identifying and amplifying UGC

Moderation and animation of the brand’s social media accounts across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X)

Building a unique social media tone of voice for WeWard. Reflecting the brand's tone and values, you'll be one of the guardians of editorial consistency

Strengthening brand visibility beyond our own channelsby engaging with relevant brands and accounts, participating in niche conversations, and expanding the brand’s share of voice.

Identifying and amplifying UGC

On-Screen Presence & Filming

  • Active participation in filming sessions and embodying the Wardy mascot

  • Comfort in front of the camera and ability to appear in brand content in all formats (behind-the-scenes, video replies, spontaneous takes for example require a natural on-screen presence)

  • Embodying a recurring character or the brand mascot

  • Contributing to creative direction on set by suggesting creative adjustments during shoots such as camera angles, rewording and alternative formats

Active participation in filming sessions and embodying the Wardy mascot

Embodying a recurring character or the brand mascot

Creativity & Content Conception

  • Proposing and developing video concepts, such as short-form formats, editiorial angles, hooks, storytelling.

  • Trend-watching and qualifying content opportunities by monitoring platforms (TikTok FYP, Reels Explorer, X trending) daily to identify actionable trends

  • Ability to distinguish lasting formats from fleeting fads

  • Designing series formats and recurring content

  • Feeding the shared creative backlog by centralising inspiration, references and proposals in a collaborative tool (Notion, Google Drive…) accessible to the full creative team.

Proposing and developing video concepts, such as short-form formats, editiorial angles, hooks, storytelling.

Trend-watching and qualifying content opportunities by monitoring platforms (TikTok FYP, Reels Explorer, X trending) daily to identify actionable trends

Ability to distinguish lasting formats from fleeting fads

Designing series formats and recurring content

Feeding the shared creative backlog by centralising inspiration, references and proposals in a collaborative tool (Notion, Google Drive…) accessible to the full creative team.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Producing the monthly community report

  • Autonomously tracking performance indicators on our KPI dashboards, such as response rate, engagement on interactive content, reach of amplified UGC

  • Contributing to the team’s overall reporting

Video Editing & Post-Production

  • Proficiency in at least one video editing tool (CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Rush or equivalent)

  • Autonomous production of short-form content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) for reactive content and micro-formats

  • Integrating text, subtitles and visual elements as a lever for retention and visual identity

  • Editorial selection of sounds and music by monitoring audio trends, using royalty-free libraries, and exercising editorial judgment in matching sound to content and platform algorithms.

Proficiency in at least one video editing tool (CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Rush or equivalent)

Autonomous production of short-form content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) for reactive content and micro-formats
