ThrustMe is a growing deep-tech company in the space industry located in the outskirts of Paris, France. We are developing and commercializing, amongst other, innovative space propulsion systems for next generation satellites, and we develop scientific instruments for ground testing of space hardware, - we are now hiring a technical sales engineer.
We are looking for a technical sales engineer to bring our sales to the next level.
We recruit open minded and skillful talents that bring their unique touch to ThrustMe’s already multi-national and multi-educational team. We are looking for candidates with broad understanding of space propulsion from operation to use cases, with a technical background and a great capacity to learn the art of space propulsion quickly. The ideal candidate should also have the experience of conducting technical sales in the B2B aerospace industry.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sell space propulsion systems and scientific instruments: Meet with existing & potential customers; understand customers needs, explain product features, present and demonstrate our product portfolio
- Complete proposals and bids, write up sales orders, prepare sales documents, and negotiate contract terms.
- Attend trade exhibitions, seminars, and conferences.
- Provide inputs for product enhancements and new product development.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Masters or PhD in Aerospace engineering or experimental physics
- Space systems engineering experience
- Technical sales experience in the space industry is a plus
HARD SKILLS
- Good understanding of physic, engineering and electronics.
- Good understanding of B2B sales cycle.
- Knowledge on space propulsion and orbital mechanics is a plus.
SOFT SKILLS
- Passionate, curious and open minded.
- Trustworthy, reliable and responsible.
- Self driven with appreciation of team work.
- Organized and tidy.

Commuting from Paris (south) takes only 40 minutes, we’re 20 minutes from Orly airport, and within biking distance from many cozy French villages.

ThrustMe conçoit et fabrique des systèmes de propulsion et de mobilité en orbite pour les satellites. Son catalogue comprend des propulseurs électriques à l’iode, des propulseurs Hall et des systèmes de contrôle d’attitude utilisant de l’eau.
Les équipements sont livrés sous forme de solutions intégrées destinées aux opérateurs de satellites et de constellations. Ils permettent notamment le déploiement, le maintien à poste, l’évitement de collisions et la désorbitation.
